.ma Domain Name Terms and Conditions

The Applicant or Holder declares having read the naming decision adopted and updated by ANRT, and undertakes to comply with it in full.

Throughout its period of validity, the Holder has an exclusive, personal right to use the registered domain name, in accordance with applicable regulations.

By registering or renewing a domain name, the Applicant or Holder consents to the collection, retention and processing of their data by ANRT, as well as to the publication of “WHOIS” information.

The Holder accepts that some of their data may be disclosed by ANRT to competent authorities or any authorized third party, in accordance with applicable law.

The choice, use and operation of the domain name and its subdomains are the sole responsibility of the Holder, who undertakes not to infringe the rights or interests of third parties.

The Holder is represented by a natural person — the administrative contact — duly authorized and established in Morocco. Where the Holder is a natural person, they may act as their own administrative contact.

The Holder provides Clouder with valid postal and electronic contact details for themselves and their administrative contact, and guarantees the accuracy, completeness and currency of the information provided.

The Holder may renew their domain name at any time. Upon expiry, they must renew during the grace period to retain it; failing that, the domain name is removed by ANRT at the end of that period.

The Holder may request a change of provider or transfer their domain name to a third party at any time, in accordance with the naming decision and these terms.

The Holder agrees to submit to the alternative dispute resolution procedure and to any ANRT decision regarding the registered “.ma” domain name, and ensures before any registration that the name does not appear on the list of reserved terms.

In accordance with Decision ANRT/DG/N°02/2024, any registration or transfer of a .ma domain name must be accompanied by an official document evidencing the Holder’s legal existence.

Holders established in Morocco — individuals: national electronic ID card (CNIE); legal entities: Trade Register (RC) or final declaration receipt (associations).

Foreign Holders — individuals: passport; legal entities: certificate of incorporation.

Submitted documents must be legible, valid and consistent with the WHOIS information. Domain names whose information or supporting documents do not meet regulatory requirements may be suspended 14 days after registration or transfer, with no refund or compensation.

Clouder notifies the Holder of their domain name’s expiry at least thirty (30) days before the deadline and allows them to renew it at any time, before or during the grace period.

Clouder forwards to the Registry any change relating to the domain name or the Holder as soon as it is communicated, and informs the Holder of any freeze, block or removal by ANRT.

On request, Clouder provides the Holder free of charge with the authorization code(s) for their domain names within three (3) days.

Clouder assists Holders with registration, renewal, termination, transfer and information updates, and does not collect, use or disclose any Holder data for purposes unrelated to domain name management.

Information collected when applying for or registering a .ma domain name is processed solely for the purpose of allocating the domain name. The data recipient is the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT).

In accordance with law 09-08 of February 18, 2009 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have a right of access, rectification and objection, which you can exercise by emailing contact@clouder.ma or by mail to Clouder — Data Protection Department, N 25 Kissariat Ahmed Kriem, Rue Abderrahman Chenguitti, Kebibat, Rabat.

In accordance with the “.ma” naming decision, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedure Regulation applies to “.ma” domain names relating to a trademark, trade name or service mark protected in Morocco. It governs the resolution of disputes between a complainant and a respondent concerning a “.ma” domain name, for all domain names registered with ANRT.
